Ital
Ital, musician of chilean origin, sound engineer, label manager of Antu Records Chile, producer of Psytrance music and DJ, has been active in the musical world for more than 13 years, starting his career playing guitar, going through several styles of popular music, until he arrived at his true passion: Psychedelic trance music.
In 2001 with his friend Andrés Rodillo he got involved in the production of Psytrance electronic music, forming one of the pioneering projects of the local scene: Metatron. In the beginning, experimenting with samplers, synthetizers and audio software allowed them to introduce themselves to the national electronic world, playing live, with great success in different places around the country.
Three years later, in 2004, he decided to create his own project, Ital. Ital means purity in Patois African dialect and he describes his production as having this as it's fundamental concept, to expand all the purity that surrounds us, channelling all this divine and universal energy through music so that it may be projected as sound waves towards our surrounding universe.
Ital has a predominantly Morning Full On style with a twist of his own character, full of atmosphere, metallic sounds and a lot of psychedelia and has appeared at the most important events of his country (Chile), and also in some of the great recognized Festivals world-wide including:

Ital has released tracks on several compilations over the years though various labels including Enzyme, Morphonic, Moonsun, Freeze magazine, Yellow Sunshine Explosion, Planet Ben, Kadgila and Indra. In September 2007 he began the first Chilean Psytrance label, Antu Records. The name Antu was chosen as it comes from the indigenous Chilean meaning Sun as the purpose behind the label is to expand the light and divine energy all over the world through Psytrance music, to connect ourselves with our roots and feel our hearts full of spiritual healing.
